This sweetheart was just as beautiful as can be but she sure did have a stubborn streak when it came to me wanting her to sleep and her wanting to stay awake haha. She was determined that she was going to be awake for the whole session and in the end, we just let her have her way. Take 2 – she came back the following day and it looked for a moment like she might outlast me again but fortunately I kicked my “baby whisperer” skills into overdrive and eventually baby E was putty in my hands.
The images are just all so beautiful, I’m sooooo glad we persevered to get the captures that we had planned. I know mum and dad will be thrilled and I thank them so much for being so patient with me too.
I love this image. I love how they are looking at each other with such love and I adore that baby E is looking at me with such great eye contact. Very unusual for a newborn to have such eye contact but as I said, she sure was an original
I was drooling over this necklace that mum had received from her mother-in-law. What a sweet gift it is. It is three small rings intertwined to represent mum, dad and baby. I adored it and was so excited to be able to incorporate it into the session. If mother-in-law is reading this, I would love to know where it was purchased. I really think I would like something like this for myself. Very special.
