I LOVE newborn photography!!! Capturing the fresh newness of a baby and seeing brand new parents gazing at their little one in absolute awe - it gets me teary every time - there is always so much love during the session.
To keep the emphasis on your beautiful baby, my focus is on baby's super soft skin, sleepy expressions, perfect lips, tiny fingers and toes, precious curly newness. I incorporate beautiful textured blankets and the occasional wrap or knit accessory, all to create my signature style:- SOFT, SIMPLE and TIMELESS!!!!
I recommend that you book with me whilst you are still expecting to make sure you secure a place in my busy calendar. Babies are best photographed within the first 4-12 days when they are still sleepy and naturally curly for those divine newborn poses - the younger the better!!!

Photographing expectant mummies makes me incredibly happy - the joy of this time before baby arrives and embracing the miracle your amazing body is creating. Maternity sessions are the perfect way to capture that glow and to celebrate the baby you are growing!!!
It's important to choose a photographer who understands that certain poses flatter more than others, how to use natural light to best capture your radiance and with gentle guidance, help you feel beautiful and comfortable. We will discuss ideas on wardrobe and styling, using your own personal clothing and there is a selection of gowns at the studio you are also welcome to use. We will work together to create elegant, intimate and emotional images you will adore.
Maternity sessions are best held around the 32-36 week mark when your tummy is nice and round and you are still feeling great but if your work schedule does not allow for that, sessions can be held all the way up until your due date. The timing can be different for everyone so please contact me to discuss further.
My clients are women who have chosen to celebrate their pregnancies and capture an amazing moment in their lives.

My style for families.....sweet expressions, tiny details and lots of relaxed laughter filled moments. My talent for making children feel natural in front of my camera is what makes me one of the most sought after family photographers in Canberra.
Child and Family portraits are about the memories - the cheeky toddler giggle, babies blowing bubbles, the moody (but divine) teenage frown, 1st birthday milestones, the climber,
that 'awkward' phase, sweet sibling cuddles...and every moment in between. These are the things you will look back on with love and laughter - and that is what I capture for my clients. Focusing on the children and the connection with the people who love them. They can be silly, run around, be shy, have a rest, a snack and a play - my ultimate goal is for everyone to relax and have fun. With a variety of gently posed images as well as candid portraits, I look for those sweet moments as well as the infectious energy that brings so much joy.
I adore children of all ages and that really shows in my work. I find the beauty and the personality in each of my big and little clients and that is why families return to me time and again! Whether your child is 6 days, 6 months, 6 years or even 16 years.... it's important to capture all of the stages and parents need to include themselves too.

With soft music in the background, beautiful natural light streaming in, outdoor space for children to run around and a comfortable couch - my warm and inviting studio offers the perfect setting for your timeless portraits.
I only take a limited number of clients per month so that I can give you my full attention during your time with me. I will be there every step of the way from the outfit planning all the way through to the order selections and everything in between. I hope to make your session enjoyable and stress free.
